Wind Has A Temper
The trees announce the wind's arrival before she comes in the room. You hear the arrival before her entrance. Stillness is replaced with a rustling gesture replaced with tempestousness. Apparently, wind has a temper.

I find it beautiful how one side of her mouth is different from the other. I has a dimple in it, and I find it charming that the artist painted it with such attention and detail.
ReplyDeleteIt's also beautiful how the artist gave her cheeks that flush cheeks get from cold air. It's different from a heat flush; the rest of the skin turns white, while the cheeks become pink.
Love your observations of the details. There is nothing like the flush from walking in cold air - that is one of the only things that keeps me going in the winter months. Thanks for sharing!
