A Hundred Years Ago

This could have been me 100 years ago...an Edwardian/Victorian lady.

Or maybe a Medieval lady in Shalott:

Went out walkin' through the wood the other day
And the world was a carpet laid before me
The buds were bursting and the air smelled sweet and strange
And it seemed about a hundred years ago

  1. I wish! Is it so much to ask to be a character in a Jane Austen novel?

  2. Not too much to ask at all! So who would you be?

  3. Cool pics in this post (especially the medieval one). Also dig the new header at the top of the site. Nice!

  4. Awww, Anna, I love these ladies. Some of my favorite images from the 19th century are the ladies - they look exquisite in their dresses, their hair done up, with bouquets or kittens or tea or books. Sigh. Your new header is gorgeous, too!

  5. Thanks, I am glad for the feedback on the new banner header - I was unsure if I liked it well enough to keep it - It is growing on me, though!

If I could only step back in time, even for one day...I would! Like "Lost in Austen" only not so complicated ;)
