Tea is on my mind since I have been sipping it for a sore throat the past few days. My "teas" are very informal, but I look back at other more formal teas I've been to with good memories. A cream tea in London with my mom, a sisterly tea with my sisters at a local tea shoppe, a high-waters tea on a cruise - with classical music being played softly in the background, or a family tea presented by my sister when she had a tea business. 
Another reason to love the Brits - they dress up every year in top hats and bonnets, for Royal Ascot. Much like a couple from another era...
