It's as if the wind is playing a tune that the trees must dance to. I always think of that verse from Isaiah also when the wind is making the trees particularly lively. There is some lovely poetry in that Great Old Book.

Out of curiosity, why are there no comments enabled on your current posts? I agree with you, and really liked your comment, about how the wind grabs our attention to something bigger than ourselves - excellent!, ...and yes, it really does do that.

It is easy to forget sometimes the amazing things that are out there and that we miss because we are caught up in our daily "stuff."

Thanks for "getting" this post...always good to hear your comments - thanks!Webmasterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16499249104246083683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962203393424657891.post-85743217694010626262010-06-17T11:30:59.829-05:002010-06-17T11:30:59.829-05:00Oooh. It reminds me of the scene in Bright Star where Fannie feels the joy of discovering her love for Keats, and she opens her bedroom window and the wind sweeps across her while she lays smiling. It was a visual depiction of what was happening internally. But I think wind brings joy also because it grabs our attention and makes us focus on the world outside of us, and we feel like we're being swept into something much bigger than the small problems that we mull about in our lives. And that verse was so powerful. I also believe that the elements and the natural world truly do praise God, and something in us instinctively recognizes that, and something in us wants to leap up and praise God with the wind as it blows around us! Amazing post.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01667256642861152906noreply@blogger.com
